Before I began helping companies communicate better, I wrote for some the world’s largest and most prestigious publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The New York Times, Town & Country, and California Magazine.

I’ve made hundreds of TV appearances; led, moderated, and appeared on panels in the U.S., Europe, and Asia; delivered speeches for groups as small as 20 and as large as 1000+. Besides writing white papers, speeches, and blogs for companies, I’ve prepared both executives and their customers for live and online presentations.

I taught writing at Google, communications agencies, and The San Quentin State Prison (donate and subscribe to The San Quentin News here.)

I currently work with a select number of clients in most of these areas, in addition to writing for myself. I like to be busy, and have several clients on both short- and long-term engagements. I have an hourly and monthly rate, usually subject to negotiation, with discounts for university and nonprofits.
